CHRISTMAS EVE 2011 (WISCONSIN USA)
In the corner bedroom of a two story house a lone figure sat staring transfixed at his computer screen, lost in thought.
He was a tall man in his early twenties standing well over two meters in height with short brown hair, piercing blue eyes, and a red goatee on his chin. His eyes had a far away and glassy look from staring at his computer screen for the last three hours straight. On the screen an empty word document stood before him. The only activity on the screen was the cursor blinking at the top of the document, an insulting reminder of his lack of progress.

Ross laid on his back, idly looking at the sky. Right next to him was Saria looking up as well. Somewhere nearby Scratch and Sibelius just chased after the other. Looking after the young Pachirisu and Chatot was usually no minor task, but much to his luck they were holding back a bit today.
Everything was peace and calm save for the noise the two young Pokemon made, which was something Ross was already used to. He didn't know if Saria was used to it as well but it didn't seemed to bother her, she just smiled as she looked up to the sky.
